
Family Violence Support Specialist

Domestic violence is a pervasive issue that affects individuals and families across diverse backgrounds. As a domestic and family violence practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing intensive support services to those experiencing trauma and cultural sensitivity.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis counseling and risk assessment to prevent family and domestic violence, ensuring the safety of clients and their loved ones.
- Collaborate with internal and external workers to support clients with complex needs, leveraging your expertise to drive positive outcomes.
- Develop training packages and contribute to policy development in the field of domestic and family violence, sharing your knowledge to inform best practices.
This role requires a deep understanding of domestic and family violence, as well as experience working with vulnerable populations. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop tailored solutions, and refer them to relevant agencies when necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a passion for supporting individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence.
