Case Manager Position

This role involves working with women and children impacted by domestic and family violence.

Key responsibilities include providing high-quality outreach and refuge-based case management, delivering risk assessments, safety planning, individualised support plans, and counselling to children living in refuge.

Caseworkers will work within trauma-informed and strengths-based frameworks and participate in after-hours on-call service. Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in family/domestic violence or social services are essential.

  • Provide comprehensive case management for families affected by domestic violence
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans to enhance client well-being
  • Deliver training and mentoring to colleagues to promote best practice
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for policy changes that address the root causes of domestic violence

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in family/domestic violence or social services
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities
  • Strong risk assessment and safety planning skills
