Senior Workplace Safety Professional

We are seeking a candidate who can implement risk-based assessments and conduct root cause investigations. The ideal individual will be confident in working collaboratively with teams and individuals, leading meetings, pre-starts, and delivering safety-related training.
The successful candidate will be proactive in monitoring the implementation of operational safety, health, environment, and quality assurance policies and programs. Experience in undertaking incident investigations and reporting is essential, along with a proven ability to drive positive safety behaviours and culture through active Field Leadership engagement.
The Person:
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS (Workplace Health and Safety)
- Cert IV Training & Assessing (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Health or similar.
- Experience in incident investigations (ICAM preferred)
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and people safety in a hospitality setting (training also provided)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based software applications and a high level of computer literacy in general;
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
