Key Responsibilities and Expectations- Audit and balance payroll data ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures as well as appropriate federal and state regulations.
- Process new hires in payroll systems and maintain employee files accurately.
- Audit and balance payroll data.
- Calculate and ensure correct garnishment calculations.
- Set up one-time and other types of compensation payments along with position and compensation changes.
- Ensure accurate retro and prorated payments, reimbursements, and deductions are complete and timely.
- Responsible for the processing of leaves and terminations including obtaining correct deductions, unused annual leave, termination payments, etc.
- Communicate company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures to employees as needed.
- Maintain process documentation for Payroll and provide process details to internal stakeholders.
- Provide high-level customer service to all levels of employees by responding to routine payroll inquiries.
This role supports a wide range of Human Resource programs and services working closely with a dynamic Total Rewards Team who supports and assists one another.
