Enterprise Technology Leader

About the Role:

We seek a highly experienced Enterprise Technology Leader to provide expert technical guidance across our enterprise systems, leveraging both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.

  • Administer and support Windows OS Servers and third-party software (on-prem & cloud)
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, and Private Cloud environments is essential for this role
  • Manage and configure Veeam Backup solutions to ensure seamless data protection
  • Script and automate using PowerShell to optimize system performance
  • Support server virtualization with VMWare ESXi and Hyper V, driving efficiency and scalability
  • Maintain detailed documentation, investigate incidents, and provide third-level support to drive issue resolution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategies
  • Liaise with technology vendors such as Microsoft and Veeam for service requests and technical expertise
  • Develop and mentor peers, contributing to a high-performing Data Centre Services team

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in complex Windows Server environments with a strong understanding of Cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on expertise with Veeam, VMWare, and Hyper V, along with advanced PowerShell scripting skills
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of mentoring and documentation
  • Background in government environments is highly desirable

Requirements:

  • Criminal checks are required after selection, with candidates able to use existing clearances if obtained within the last 12 months

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
