Overview

Chief Technology Officer

Cadence Connect has been retained and proud to be partnering exclusively with our client in a search for an experienced and visionary CTO. With their national head office, based in Brisbane's south, you will be working in a modern habitat, furnished with state-of-the-art facilities. Responsibilities

- Define and execute the company's technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
- Oversee and guide IT operations, software development, infrastructure, and vendor relationships.
- Champion innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies and optimisation of existing systems.
- Provide oversight on critical enterprise platforms including CRM, ERP, WMS, POS, HRIS, Finance, Payroll, and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Ensure robust risk management, governance, and security practices are in place.
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing technology team.
- Report to the CEO and Advisory Board, presenting clear updates on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and brand forums

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related field.
- Proven executive or senior technology leadership experience, ideally reporting to a governance or risk board.
- Strong background across enterprise systems such as: CRM, ERP, PIM, WMS, POS, TMS, Payroll/Finance, HR Systems, LMS, Security, Middleware, eCommerce, SQL Server, Azure, AWS, .NET Development.
- Demonstrated success in project management, digital transformation, and vendor negotiations.
- Experience overseeing mobile app development, Power BI dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- A track record of fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and cultural change within a technology function.
- Industry experience in retail or FMCG will be highly regarded.
