About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Information Technology professional to deliver high-quality IT support and issue resolution across schools and offices.

The role involves participating in an IT support service team ensuring high levels of service and issue resolution in line with agreed performance standards. Ensuring agreed levels of service are maintained and contributing to the development of standardised processes required for IT support is also key.

Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining systemic management and educational delivery systems in accordance with departmental information standards and policies. Providing expert IT advice and support on hardware and software selection, procurement, and installation, as well as system enhancement, is another vital aspect of this role.

In addition, advising and monitoring the implementation of departmental information standards and policies will be essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent based on ACS skills assessment.
  • Windows server operating systems, server hardware configuration, network switches, end user device and printer support.
Benefits

A C class driver's licence is required due to regular travel between base location and schools.
