We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our team, providing high-level advice on employment conditions and industrial relations issues.

This role will play a critical part in negotiating enterprise agreements and supporting people and culture projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in business, psychology, or a related field, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

In this fixed-term position, you will enjoy a salary of $100,533 plus superannuation, as well as a range of benefits including flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities, and access to gym memberships and employee assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the team on the negotiation of enterprise agreements and people and culture projects.
  • Undertake research, analysis, and provide advice on employment conditions and industrial relations issues.
  • Draft enterprise agreement provisions and coordinate the consultation and approval processes.
  • Interpret agreements, awards, employment conditions, and related legislation, and provide relevant advice to stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the wider employee relations team across a range of complex matters such as employee relations case management, investigations, reporting, and projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in business, psychology, or a related field.
  • High level written and oral communication skills to undertake negotiation and liaison.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and establish and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level advice and interpretation of relevant legislation, industrial awards, enterprise agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • High level research and analytical skills.
