Desktop Support Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations by providing exceptional desktop and network support.

This role demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting and an eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment. You will be working closely with the IT team to deploy, image, and reimage desktops and laptops, ensuring quick rollouts.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and experience in Active Directory management to ensure efficient operation of user access and system security. Proficiency in remote desktop software and strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support to desktop users and ensure effective troubleshooting of issues promptly.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of network infrastructure to guarantee business continuity.
  • Utilize remote desktop software to resolve support incidents efficiently and enhance user experience.
  • Manage user accounts and security settings via Active Directory, maintaining enterprise security standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows OS.
  • Experience in Active Directory management.
  • Proficiency in remote desktop software.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Competence in network configuration and diagnostics.
  • Experience in hardware repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
