The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager of IT Infrastructure to join our team. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing our next phase of IT infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to drive large-scale technology change and lead a high-performing team that is responsible for providing and guaranteeing a reliable infrastructure used to support and operate all systems, networks, and telecommunication platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team that is responsible for providing and guaranteeing a reliable infrastructure used to support and operate all systems, networks, and telecommunication platforms.
  • Execution of the Infrastructure strategy that supports the overall strategy of Group Technology. Drive best practices for IT Infrastructure.
  • Assessing, scaling, and improving the infrastructure architecture for all current and future business requirements, including store and digital growth as well as new and emerging technologies.
  • Advise on significant enterprise-level improvements and measurable business benefits by identifying, proposing, initiating, and leading significant programs of improvement.
  • Develop and maintain flexible yet disciplined governance structures to optimise technology priorities, delivery speed, and related spend; continuously review and assess performance of financials/budgets, as well as delivery by key vendors to the enterprise.
About You

We are looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for change and a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology transformations at a complex business. You will have a solid understanding of Data Centres, Cloud, Networks, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, End User Compute, and Unified Communications Technologies. You will also have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop people and build an effective team culture.
