Job Description:

As a senior professional, you will oversee the operations of an underground mining crew to ensure efficient and safe production.

You will be responsible for coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and minimize risks.

Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential to effectively manage the team and foster a positive work environment.

This role requires a strong understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency
  • Proven experience in underground mechanized mining
  • Previous supervisory experience in a gold mining environment
  • Experience in rapid lateral development, production, and haulage
  • Demonstrated planning and forecasting knowledge
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and mining software
