About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to maximize profitable sales in Alice Springs and Central Australia. As a key member of our team, you will provide a serviced total supply solution to existing customers, identify new markets, and develop business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out opportunities to develop business across all nominated areas
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and customer relationships to maximize overall sales potential
  • Introduce new categories to existing customers
  • Achieve budgeted sales and margin goals
  • Manage contract pricing by customer and review as necessary
  • Continuously look for ways to meet and exceed customer expectations

Requirements:

  • Sales experience and good customer service skills
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Sound understanding of FMCG business
  • Strong knowledge of the NT or Alice Springs marketplace
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  • Able to travel into remote locations

Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
