Lead Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Upper Primary Teacher to lead engaging, developmentally responsive learning programs tailored to the unique needs of students in the upper primary phase.
This role involves planning and leading our Specialist Physical Education program, encompassing whole-school sports carnivals, incursions, excursions, and coordination of resources. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver high-impact teaching and learning programs for students in Years 5 and 6, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead Specialist Physical Education programs, including whole-school sports carnivals, incursions, excursions, and resource coordination.
- Implement targeted physical development programs, including Fundamental Movement Skills and Perceptual Motor Program.
- Coordinate and lead key upper primary experiences, including Year 6 Camp, Graduation, and student leadership opportunities.
- Embed inclusive practices through Positive Behaviour Schools framework.
- Foster strong partnerships with students, staff, families, and the wider community, promoting cultural responsiveness and relational trust.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled and experienced teacher with expertise in upper primary education.
- Strong knowledge of Western Australian Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
