Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 4, 2025. Canning Vale College (CVC) is an Independent Public School with approximately 1,350 students from Years 7 to 12 and around 180 staff.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a challenging portfolio which includes collaborative planning and construction of a complex timetable
  • Assume responsibility/ownership of the 'School Culture' priority
  • Support students at educational risk, including mainstream students and students enrolled in the Education Support hub
  • Oversight of operational matters
  • Achieve school improvement through whole school approaches, staff development, student services, and innovative programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective leadership in diverse educational settings
  2. High level of interpersonal and public relations skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  3. Demonstrated professional knowledge to ensure high educational outcomes for all students
  4. Capacity to manage staff, physical, and financial resources
