Home Building Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team in the Bendigo region. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of home builds from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage.

  • Coordinate and manage trades, establishing a reliable trade base.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, trades, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure correct building practices and procedures are followed.
  • Deliver quality homes within set time frames and budgeted guidelines.
  • Enforce OH&S regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, including paperwork and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise residential home builds, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, tradespeople, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including site inspections, progress updates, and quality control checks.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction supervision or management, with a focus on residential home builds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of Australian building regulations, WHS regulations, and quality assurance systems.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Solid project management skills, including experience managing a trade network.
  • Effective communication skills to deliver excellent customer service.
