Establishing a strong client relationships is at the heart of this challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Accountant. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your technical expertise in accounting and tax to deliver high quality services to a diverse range of clients across various industries.

Job Description

In this key position, you will be working closely with a talented team to manage a portfolio of clients, providing them with exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client relationships and building trust with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Delivering complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Preparing monthly management reports, cashflow statements, and constructing logical and accurate working papers.
  • Preparing budgets for client engagements and assisting in consulting matters including the provision of tax advice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree.
  • Completed professional certification – CA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience (At least 2 years in public practice accounting).
  • Experience in professional services (desired).
  • Demonstrated exposure to medium and large businesses with multiple entities.
  • Motivation and a commitment to self-development and career progression.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
