Job Title: Senior Financial Advisor

Job Description:

This is a senior level position in our firm, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality taxation and business advisory services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals, as well as providing high-level tax compliance for all entities and clients.

They will also assist with business advisory engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and structuring, and prepare strategic advice for client meetings.

Other responsibilities include preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, and other compliance documents as required, assisting with internal processes and improving efficiencies within the firm, and mentoring and providing guidance to junior and administrative staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in public practice accounting, taxation, financial and business management experience
  • Relevant Business, Accounting, Commerce or Economics degree
  • Professional qualifications (CA/CPA) or actively working towards a qualification
  • Current & up to date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards
  • Strong client servicing and people skills with the ability to engage with clients and build on existing relationships
