Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant/Team Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant/Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior staff, overseeing financial analysis, and delivering strategic tax and financial advice.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Australian public practice, with a strong knowledge of Australian tax law, AASB standards, and compliance. You will also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, prepare and review tax returns, and conduct financial analysis. You will also contribute to process improvements and help shape the firm's growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor junior and intermediate staff
  • Oversee financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  • Deliver strategic tax and financial advice
  • Manage workflow and review outputs across compliance and advisory

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years in Australian public practice
  • 2+ years in a leadership, workflow, or review capacity
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, AASB standards, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and efficiency
