Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Associate Photographer who will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of residential homes and apartments using a top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and iPad.

  • Support marketing efforts on our industry-leading marketplaces, Homes.com and Apartments.com, by capturing beautiful 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
  • Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
  • Navigate one-mile square grids while not working on a residential home to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage. Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
  • Avoid accidents and safeguard company vehicle and equipment by following CoStar safety standards.
  • Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, lift, twist, and carry occasionally to perform job functions.
  • Work and drive outside during all seasons.
  • Work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Real Estate Photography experience required.
  • Experience working as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
  • Hold a FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Capture and enter data accurately.
  • Exhibit excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Show proficiency in Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
  • Prefers working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Field experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

Compensation:

This is an hourly role. The pay amounts to $50,000 annually, with opportunity for monthly bonuses.
