Job Description

The Senior Data Systems Analyst role involves leading the integration of electronic data trading partners and ensuring the success of trading partner implementations. This position also entails monitoring client data submissions, communicating with clients to resolve data quality issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective data solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with partners to create data mappings according to defined specifications.
  • Communicate directly with leadership on data needs and key deadlines.
  • Research and identify data quality issues reported through onboarding or found through new file submission and work with client team on a resolution.
  • Field ongoing, incoming requests and questions regarding data specifications.
  • Review files received for compliance with data needs, including testing files and identifying business rules that will need to be configured in mapping tool.
  • Configure mapping tool to support translation from source data to desired format, including testing of the tool and providing clear documentation to internal resources and customers.
  • Act as resident expert for data requirements/specifications.
  • Remain informed and up-to-date with ongoing changes and evolution of data specs.
  • Lead coworker trainings regarding data specifications and requirements.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 8+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills:
    • Experience with ETL, analytic-based, data-driven reporting, Tableau, SQL Server, Salesforce, Snowflake.
  • Other skills:
    • Experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy data is preferred.
    • Previous client-facing experience.
