About the Role:

This role will be focused on system configurations, service integrations, and testing of software deployed at Amazon Installations globally. You will drive Robotics fleet retrofit projects to improve performance, reliability, and safety of robotic and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple robotics implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects to ensure program goals are met.
  • Create and maintain problem resolution procedures to identify need for new tools to support existing solutions.
  • Leverage existing guides, task lists, and configuration processes to deploy Software at Amazon Robotics sites worldwide.
  • Monitor queues and respond to issues within defined SLAs.
  • Develop processes to implement product upgrades on fielded Amazon Robotics products.

Requirements:

  1. 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems, or equivalent.
  3. Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS.
  4. Knowledge and/or working experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
  5. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  6. Proven ability to root cause issues, drive improvements, and apply preventive measures.
  7. Previous experience managing complex technical projects.
  8. Previous experience with AWS services.
  9. Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
  10. Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, TQM, Kaizen and Lean manufacturing methodology).
  11. Experience with system or process investigation and analysis to solve customer problems.
  12. Exposure to object-oriented programming languages.
