Job Description:

We are seeking a Robotic Process Improvement Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leveraging existing guides, task lists, and configuration processes, systems, and tools to deploy software at Amazon Robotics sites around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing guides, task lists, and configuration processes, systems, and tools to deploy software at Amazon Robotics sites around the world.
  • Monitor queues and respond to issues within defined SLAs.
  • Develop processes to implement product upgrades on fielded Amazon Robotics products.
  • Oversee multiple robotics implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects ensuring program goals are met; identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and driving change for the identified opportunities.
  • Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify need for new tools to support existing solutions.

Requirements:

  1. 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems, or equivalent.
  3. Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS.
  4. Knowledge and/or working experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
  5. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  6. Proven ability to root cause issues, drive improvements, and apply preventive measures.
  7. Previous experience managing complex technical projects.
  8. Previous experience with AWS services.
  9. Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
  10. Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, TQM, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing methodology).
  11. Experience with system or process investigation and analysis to solve customer problems.
  12. Exposure to object-oriented programming languages.
