Business Development Manager

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager for Firesoft People, you will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining client relationships. You will be selling Automation software solutions within our high-profile IT consultancy.
- The ideal candidate will have experience selling software-based solutions, particularly in automation software.
- They will identify key sectors, organisations, and individuals to build lead generation strategies.
- The successful candidate will lead prospect calls, meetings, and product demos, as well as prospect for, generate, educate, and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
- They will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that marketing campaigns meet and align with overall sales objectives.
Your Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven sales experience in technology solutions (e.g., ERP solutions)
- An existing network of decision-makers at Australian medium to large organisations
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship development skills
- Technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A consistently high work ethic and a can-do attitude
