Customer Support Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Officer to join our team in Adelaide or Bendigo. As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with customers who are experiencing financial difficulties and provide personalized solutions to help them manage their obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the business objectives of the Bank through effective management of delinquent loans, credit cards, business and savings accounts;
- Working with customers to identify and implement suitable arrangements to assist them in managing their financial obligations;
- Providing pro-active and low-cost solutions that protect the Bank's security position while ensuring high standards of customer service;
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for managing customer relationships and achieving business outcomes.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has strong communication and negotiation skills. If you have experience in collections or customer service, that would be an asset, but it's not essential.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Exceptional phone and communication skills;
- A caring and empathetic nature with the resilience to deal with customers who are experiencing difficult times;
- A positive can-do attitude with good problem-solving and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work with targets and key performance indicators;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong computer skills.
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and location.
