Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer Team Lead to join our Infrastructure Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of field engineers, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of field engineers in providing preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting services to our highly recognized and industry-leading customers.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members to ensure their growth and development within the company.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of various storage systems, including HP, Dell EqualLogic, EMC VNX, EVA, NetApp, Pure, 3PAR, and IBM.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and products, particularly Intel-based servers from HP, Dell, IBM, and Lenovo, as well as Tape Libraries from HP, IBM, and Dell.
  • Work closely with our Cisco team to develop and implement effective network solutions, including loading IOS and configuring files.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Able to work on an on-call roster, providing 24/7 support to our customers.
  • Must hold Australian citizenship to be eligible for NV1 Clearance.

  • NetApp Storage systems experience and/or certifications.
  • EMC experience and/or certifications.
