We are seeking an innovative and proactive individual to assist participants and school leavers to achieve their employment goals and social inclusion under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through one to one servicing with a focus on building capacity towards employment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • \
  • Building a professional relationship with participants at different stages in their employment journey\
  • Providing a positive and supportive environment for people with disability to assist them with reaching their goals of finding and sustaining employment\
  • Creating an individual support plan and a 12 week plan outlining the participant's journey towards finding and keeping a job\
  • Facilitating individual and group activities, using a variety of enabling styles including but not limited to job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience and confidence building\
  • Maintaining data integrity and efficiently managing workload; prioritizing tasks and ensuring all work is completed within designated time frames\

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong networking, organisational and communication skills\
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated\
  • Proactivity, initiative and problem-solving skills\
  • Resilience and patience, with the ability to work with complex behaviors\
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to start\
  • A reliable vehicle with current comprehensive car insurance\
  • Demonstrated ability to provide vocational support to participants who live with disability\
  • Experience in facilitating individual and group educational activities\
  • High level of customer service skills, networking and stakeholder engagement skills\
