About this role
TAFE Queensland is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team. As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students across a range of disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
Key responsibilities will include designing and delivering curriculum, assessing student performance, and providing feedback and guidance to students.
This is a casual opportunity, with a focus on delivering flexible and inclusive learning programs that meet the needs of diverse student cohorts.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of adult education principles, industry skills, and knowledge of vocational training and learning.
They will also have experience in developing and implementing assessment tools and processes, as well as participating in continuous improvement activities.
Mandatory qualifications/requirements include:
- A four-year Bachelor of Education with TESOL as a method or an undergraduate bachelor degree plus a postgraduate TESOL qualification at AQF8 or above.
- Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or its successor.
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
