Developing Quality Learning and Teaching

TAFE Queensland is a leading provider of vocational education and training.

This role involves contributing to developing and delivering quality learning, teaching and assessment to a wide range of clients through outcome focussed VET programs, industry partnerships and contemporary teaching methodologies.

This is a permanent, part-time position (0.75 FTE) over 3 days per week. The position reports to the Educational Team Leader and involves working in an environment of ongoing change and continuous improvement.

  • Display teaching competence and a commitment to a student centred approach.
  • Lead and manage effective teaching and learning within classroom, workplace, simulated and online learning environments.
  • Design, develop and implement assessment tools and processes that meet industry skills standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of training and assessment provided to students.

The ideal applicant will possess skills and knowledge of national training packages and accredited courses, demonstrate capacity for best practice in teaching and learning activities, and commit to self-development with a focus on maintaining skills contemporary industry and teaching practices.
