Drill Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in operating various drill rigs, including Epiroc D65 and Cat MD6310.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all safe work practices are adhered to, meeting daily operational targets, and maintaining assets to operational capacity.

Key qualifications include the ability to read drill mine plans, possess a WA Class HR Driver's Licence, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate drill rigs safely and efficiently
  • Meet daily operational targets and maintain asset performance
  • Ensure compliance with zero-harm principles and FMG values
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in operating drill rigs and mobile equipment in the mining industry
  • Ability to read and interpret drill mine plans
  • WA Class HR Driver's Licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
