Job Title: Senior Production Engineer

The Senior Production Engineer will provide technical support for mine production, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering short-term schedules in alignment with the planning department's direction.
  • Establishing company procedures, standards, and templates for the technical services department.
  • Supporting operations through the delivery of safe and efficient production plans (drilling, charging, remote bogging).
  • Assisting with the implementation of infrastructure projects and required instructions.
  • Supporting the mining manager as required, assisting with a variety of tasks including technical work and statutory appointments.
  • Conducting ventilation surveys, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Regularly conducting underground inspections.
  • Providing underground manager ticket coverage when required.
  • Organizing short-term/daily activities with onsite contractors and technical staff.
  • Assisting with validating sections of onsite contractor claims.
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS regulations.
  • Developing and implementing Safe Systems of Work.
  • Managing and supporting raisebore and civil works contractors.
  • Mentoring and developing the production engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary degree in Mining Engineering, solid professional experience in mining engineering, Deswik competency, and excellent communication and literacy skills.
