This is a great opportunity to upskill and learn to become a Housekeeping Manager in the future. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to interact positively with guests and the hotel team.
The role requires the ability to work a rotating roster and possess full Australian working rights. Excellent grooming and presentation are also essential.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Passionate and consistent, with excellent attention to detail
- Effective inter-departmental relationships with previous hotel teams
- Leadership skills, including driving performance and productivity
- Excellent staff management, including training, development, and performance improvement
- Strong time management skills
- Accurate record keeping and payroll management
- Ability to maintain standard operating procedures and client requirements
- Experience in leading workplace safety and health
- Hands-on approach in a 4 or 5-star Housekeeping Department
- Previous experience with outsourcing
