We're seeking a relationship-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Veriu Group team in Melbourne. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you'll have the opportunity to create lasting memories for our guests by leading by example in the high standard cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities. Your responsibilities will include supervising and providing guidance, direction, and training to the housekeeping team to ensure they meet standards and benchmarks. You'll provide feedback on room conditions, ensure the implementation of our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies, and build strong relationships with your teammates and our guests. About the Role

  • Lead the housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet expectations and benchmarks
  • Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to improve performance
  • Ensure the implementation of our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies
  • Build strong relationships with teammates and guests to create a positive and welcoming environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is adaptable, enjoys variety, and operates with an ownership mindset. The successful person must have approved Australian working rights, demonstrated experience stepping up or supervising a team with kindness, demonstrated ability to problem-solve and lead by example, high standards of attention to detail and cleanliness, great verbal communication skills, and previous experience within a housekeeping or cleaning role.
