Civil Engineer Job

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and construction of major building projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting site assessments and feasibility studies, liaising with relevant authorities and stakeholders, providing on-site supervision and technical support, identifying and implementing innovative solutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and procedures, scheduling jobs while managing subcontractors, and coordinating with trades to deliver jobs on time.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, chartered status with Engineers Australia or eligibility for chartered membership, and minimum 3 years of experience in a similar civil engineering role, preferably within the construction industry.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills in areas such as residential building and subdivision, excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, effective communication and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in the use of industry-standard design and analysis software.
