Job Title

An exciting opportunity exists to provide operational support to Academic and Teaching staff across the School of Architecture Design and Planning.

About the Opportunity

This role involves implementing educational resources to support academic decision making and assessment improvement aligned to the needs of the program and work area.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • SUPPORT THE WORK AREA IN THE CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING EXPERIENCE
  • SUPPORT ACADEMIC AND TEACHING STAFF ON THE EFFECTIVE USE OF EDUCATIONAL AND MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES ACROSS DIVERSE PROGRAMS OF STUDY IN THE SCHOOL
  • PROVIDE OPERATIONAL SUPPORT TO REALISE THE EDUCATIONAL DESIGN NEEDS OF THE WORK AREA
  • PROVIDE A BROAD RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL DESIGN SUPPORT IN SUPPORTING THE DRIVING OF INNOVATION TO MATCH THE TEACHING AND CURRICULUM NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL

About You:

You will have strong communication skills coupled with the desire to support and assist staff and improving the end product to enhance student experience.

A working knowledge and effective use of Learning Management Systems such as Canvas and other educational and multimedia technologies is essential.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload are also required.

Knowledge of university policies and procedures and administrative processes within a tertiary environment is necessary.

You must be a self-starter with well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and the ability to work as part of a team.
