Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to provide educational design support to academic and teaching staff.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the creation and development of educational resources to enhance student learning experiences
  • Assisting academic and teaching staff on the effective use of educational technologies across diverse programs of study
  • Providing operational support to realise the educational design needs of the work area
  • Offering a broad range of educational design support in driving innovation to match teaching and curriculum needs

In addition, you will also be expected to contribute to projects as required.

About You

  • You will have strong communication skills, a desire to support and assist staff, and improve the end product for enhanced student experience
  • A working knowledge and effective use of Learning Management Systems such as Canvas and other educational technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and prioritise workload
  • Knowledge of university policies and procedures within a tertiary environment
  • A self-starter with well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and team collaboration skills
