Professional Guidance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Professional Guidance Specialist. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing expert guidance and support.

In this role, you will work with individuals to help them cope with challenges and make positive changes in their life. You will utilise various approaches and techniques to provide a supportive environment for individuals to express their feelings, understand and manage emotions and relationships.

This position requires a strong background in Psychology, Social Work or Behavioural Science, as well as substantial experience in a similar role. You will need to possess sound knowledge and skills in guidance and related services within a therapeutic context.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and will be committed to ongoing learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals to help them cope with challenges and make positive changes in their life.
  • Utilise various approaches and techniques to provide a supportive environment for individuals to express their feelings, understand and manage emotions and relationships.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Substantial experience in a similar role with sound knowledge and skills in guidance and related services within a therapeutic context.
