Family Lawyer or Advocate Role Overview


This is a challenging opportunity for a family lawyer or advocate seeking to grow professionally and work with a dynamic team.


The ideal candidate will have experience in advising clients on parenting arrangements, property settlements, Binding Financial Agreements, divorce and separation. They will also be expected to appear at the Magistrates and District Court for Mentions, Sentences and Bail Applications.


About The Job

You will work closely with the Director on all matters, providing expert advice to clients in family law and criminal law aspects. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in trials, mediations, and court appearances.


Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on parenting arrangements, property settlements, Binding Financial Agreements, divorce and separation;
  • Assist with Family Law trials, mediations and Court appearances;
  • Appear at the Magistrates and District Court for Mentions, Sentences and Bail Applications;

Requirements
  • A high level of initiative and pro-active approach;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • A high attention to detail;
  • The ability to manage several priority matters simultaneously and autonomously;
