Drive Business Growth as a Data Scientist

We're seeking an innovative and skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a key player in our data-driven organization, you'll be responsible for developing machine learning models that enhance candidate quality scoring, role requirements, selection criteria, and matching.

Our ideal candidate has a strong foundation in quantitative fields, advanced data extraction and processing skills, and experience with NLP. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, designing data transformation pipelines, and iterating on data products to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate clear data addressable problem statements related to candidate-job matching and qualification identification
  • Gather, validate, and understand data relevant to job requirements and candidate qualifications
  • Design and build data transformation pipelines and machine learning algorithms to improve matching accuracy and relevance
  • Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to review and iterate data products to better serve both hirers and job seekers
  • Develop models that effectively identify and highlight relevant skills and qualifications from unstructured text data

Required Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science)
  • Advanced data extraction and processing skills using SQL, Spark, etc.
  • Familiarity with S3, EC2, and/or EMR in AWS
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms focused on classification, ranking, and recommendation systems
  • Experience with NLP, particularly information extraction and semantic similarity
  • Ability to write serviceable code (e.g., Python, Scala) and work effectively with professional software development teams
