Senior Project Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Architect to lead our project teams in delivering accurate and timely construction documentation from post-DA approval to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, resource allocation, and team performance to maintain project timelines and quality. They will also liaise with internal management for approvals and sign-offs at key milestones.

Key responsibilities include conducting quality checks at each stage, applying expertise in construction detailing, and regularly reviewing design work to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

A strong understanding of building regulations, planning controls, and industry standards is essential for this role.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years post-graduate experience within Architecture including a minimum of 5+ years local experience is essential – ideally registered.
  • Strong competency in Revit construction documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience in Class 2 multi-residential projects - must be currently leading your own projects.

A Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture, along with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve complex issues are also required.
