At Kuehne + Nagel, we're seeking a dedicated Area Contract Logistics Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our growing Contract Logistics Team in Sydney's western suburbs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead operational excellence initiatives and drive continuous improvement across warehousing and distribution activities. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Customer and Operational Excellence.

Your primary objective will be to upskill colleagues by delivering training on key productivity improvement tools and programs under the production system/KN Excellence banner. You'll also plan and implement annual excellence certification activities for locations/sites under your scope, striving to achieve ever-higher levels of operational excellence.

You'll validate and assess continuous improvement projects with a focus on annual hard savings targets, coach site managers and their teams in the skills needed to drive operational excellence activities, and participate in deep dive value streaming analysis (DDVSA) events.

In addition, you'll deploy KN Excellence site certification road maps containing all 26 continuous improvement elements, drive and monitor Kaizens for continuous productivity and quality improvements across operational activities.

To be successful in this role, you'll have a strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts and methodologies, as well as strong knowledge of continuous improvement and related technical tools.

You'll possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Above all, you'll be solutions-driven and innovative, with a passion for making a difference.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, reflecting the importance we place on this role in driving our company's success.
