Senior Lawyer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team, working closely with our Head of Legal and senior lawyers to drive growth and innovation in the field of wills and estates.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Probate and Estate Planning: Prepare applications for grants of Probate and Letters of Administration for diverse states and jurisdictions in Australia, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Estate Planning Documents: Draft estate planning documents with precision, taking into account the complexities of Australian law and jurisdictional differences.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support and office assistance as required, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills, delivering exceptional service and support.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Wills and Estates Expertise: Substantial knowledge or experience in Wills and Estates, preferably with a background in PEXA and Supreme Court RedCrest Probate system.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Ability to lead and mentor staff, contributing to their professional development and growth.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Minimum 3+ Years PQE: A minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE).
