Senior Accounting Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing the financial statements for the group and working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven individual who wants to take their accounting skills to the next level. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws, as well as experience in managing lease accounting and store impairment areas.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements for the group
  • Close collaboration with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
  • Responsibility for lease accounting and store impairment areas
  • Assistance with completion of month-end activities for occupancy expenses
  • Partnering with internal teams to coordinate insurance renewal and manage claims efficiently
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Accounting role
  • Degree or qualification in relevant field (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance)
  • Completed or working towards CPA & CA qualifications
  • Competency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
