As a Highly Skilled Medical Equipment Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing complex medical equipment to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly maintain, repair, install, commission, and provide technical support for health technology equipment, including medical imaging systems and associated technologies.
  • Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members, and managers.
  • Utilize information systems and software to record, retrieve, manage, analyze, and present data.
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality management and continuous quality improvement principles.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Hold an Associate Diploma (pre-2000) or a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (2000 onwards), tertiary, or equivalent formal qualification(s) in Technology or Engineering.
  • Possess required licenses, certifications, and accreditations, or demonstrate willingness and ability to obtain them within six months.
  • Hold a C-class driver's license for driving vehicles.
  • Be willing to travel, work overtime, and adapt to various work locations and arrangements.
