Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Cleaner at our esteemed institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of schools by providing high-level cleaning support. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Maintaining equipment and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Conducting cobweb and mildew control, utilizing extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
  • Ensuring litter control and disposing of rubbish and material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
  • Dusting student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
  • Performing hosing duties.
  • Removal of graffiti.
  • Sweeping and vacuuming.
  • Providing vinyl/timber floor maintenance including buffing, stripping and polishing.
Key Qualifications
