**About the Role**:
The Groundsperson works with the Facilities Manager and grounds/maintenance staff to maintain the gardens, grounds and buildings of the school and perform repairs. Work will vary from repairs, maintenance, gardens and grounds upkeep and various tasks as set by the Facilities Manager.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- General maintenance and upkeep of the School's grounds and buildings
- Assist the Facilities Manager in the coordination of tasks.
- Operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Basic repairs and maintenance.
- Event set up and pull down.
- Ground maintenance; mowing, pruning, and line trimming.
- Rubbish collection.
- Assist other team members to complete work throughout the school grounds.

**About you**:

- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
- Good communication skills.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a team and individually.
- Drivers Licence.
- Trade background desirable.
