Course Development Manager

As a key player in our educational development team, this role plays a crucial part in delivering world-class MBA courses. This individual works closely with academic leaders and subject-matter experts to design, develop, and deliver innovative curricula.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the quality, relevance, and innovation of MBA courses while driving the development of new offerings.
  • Provide expert advice on curriculum design, assessment, and learning strategies to ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that enhance the student learning experience.

This ideal candidate will have a strong focus on adult learning and contemporary pedagogy. They should possess a relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification with extensive relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through education, training, and experience.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in managing quality programs and initiatives in an academic setting with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects concurrently under pressure.
  • Extensive experience in educational design and development for adult learning.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills including exceptional instructional design capabilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to foster and manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Australian copyright law and demonstrated understanding of intellectual property and academic integrity including generative AI.
