At the Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP), we don't just offer courses; we help people reinvent their lives. As Australia's premier provider of nationally accredited training in Clinical Hypnosis, Strategic Psychotherapy, NLP, and Counselling, we're growing fast, and we're looking for a sales gun with a heart to join our high-performance Course Advisor team.

Your Role: Sales With Purpose

This isn't a typical sales role. This is about guiding real people, career changers, therapists, coaches, and business owners ,toward transformative education that sets them up to thrive.

You'll be speaking with pre-qualified, high-intent leads (no cold calling) who are already leaning in. Your job? Help them cross the finish line with clarity, confidence, and courage.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead with Discovery – Use a coaching-style approach to uncover motivations, doubts, and goals
  • Inspire Action – Help prospective students see what's possible and align them to the right program
  • Handle Objections Like a Pro – Not with pushy tactics, but with empathy, storytelling, and strategic insight
  • Represent Excellence – Position our premium, nationally accredited courses with confidence and credibility
  • Drive Outcomes – Meet and exceed targets while transforming lives through education

You Are:
  • Consultative and Commercial – You know how to close, but never at the cost of connection or ethics
  • Experienced in Sales – 2–3+ years in phone-based consultative sales (bonus if in education, coaching, or personal development)
  • Naturally Curious & Empathetic – You ask great questions, build rapport fast, and speak to deeper emotional drivers
  • Values-Led – You believe in the power of personal growth, and love helping others unlock their potential
  • Resilient & Target-Driven – You thrive in high-performance environments and are hungry for results
  • Bonus Points – If you've trained in NLP, hypnosis, coaching, or therapy, you'll fit in beautifully
