About the opportunity
We are seeking a part-time Project Controls Officer (25 hours per week) to provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across a range of projects.
In this role, you will work closely with the Project Controls Lead, Project Managers, and the Leadership Team to ensure the smooth execution of project activities.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate project setup, maintaining compliance, and supporting operational efficiency throughout all phases of project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting project controls by maintaining proposal records, assisting with project setup, documenting variations, and supporting invoicing and financial tracking.
- Assisting with timesheet and expense claim processing, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
- Assisting with project documentation, including creation, tracking, transmittals, and archiving, using a Document Management System.
- Providing procurement support by obtaining quotes, raising and expediting purchase orders, and managing goods receipt and dispatch.
- Coordinating project mobilisations, including travel arrangements, compliance with medical and induction requirements, and logistical support for employees.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and perform well under pressure.
- Experience in project administration and document control.
- Exposure to the Mining, Construction, or Engineering industries (desirable).
- Experience with IFS or other ERP systems.
- Experience with Enable or Workflow.
