Job Description:

This Senior Logistics and Operations Manager role is a key position that will oversee the entire logistics process, from production schedules to finished goods delivery dates. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager, Technical, and Supply Chain Managers to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Responsibilities:

This role encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound freight effectively
  • Produce export documentation efficiently
  • Oversee and replenish inventory levels
  • Manage forecasts, demand, and sales data
  • Resolve shipping issues promptly
  • Manage 3rd party activity at warehouses
  • Negotiate freight costs for optimal results
  • Liaise with production and admin teams on shipping schedules and raw materials

Requirements:

To secure this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar Warehouse Logistics role
  • Proficiency in computerized stock control systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential
  • Proficient numeracy and computer skills
