Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at Abri Residential Aged Care facility in Southport. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan, implement, and evaluate activities and lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life for our clients.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a positive impact on the lives of others while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in aged care and contribute to the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of activities and lifestyle programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Provide support and guidance to clients in their daily lives
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all clients and staff
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or other relevant tertiary qualification)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A current National Police Certificate
  • Queensland Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Full Covid Vaccinations
